Perspectives: Reflections on New Zealand Mosque Shootings

12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
Mid Campus Center, Training Room 2057, 4590 Children's Place, St. Louis, MO 63110

The recent tragedy in New Zealand, where at least 50 people were killed in mass shootings at two mosques are top of mind for many. We will use the Perspectives session to process feelings and emotions as well as the societal issues that the horrific event has brought to the forefront of our news and social media feeds. We will discuss the rise in hate crimes directed at Mulsims and ways that we can support our Muslim community members. We will also encourage participants to share what has come up for them regarding all aspects of this tragedy.

As always, we encourage you to come and to invite colleagues who have never attended Perspectives to come as well. We look forward to seeing you and being in community together soon. Please feel free to contact us if you need anything in the meantime.
