 ></p><p><span data-ogsc="black">As we embark on the Spring semester\, we ar
 e excited to invite you to participate in our book club. Last year\, we ded
 icated to exploring and discussing literature that aligns with the value of
  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a whole person. In order to offer a diversit
 y of content and topics\, we polled community members on topics of interest
  and a variety of media options (e.g.\, books\, documentary film\, etc.).</
 span></p><p>This year's book/film club will focus on "<strong>Women's Right
 s in the United States</strong>" utilizing documentary film as the media ty
 pe. <span data-ogsc="black">The book/film club will meet monthly</span>\, a
 nd participants can expect to engage in monthly facilitated discussions on 
 various documentary films. Participants will be offered a viewing of the fi
 lm each month\, on-campus.</p><p>At this kickoff meeting\, we will discuss 
 the films we will be exploring\, and we will provide information about the 
 book club set up. We will also discuss follow-up dates for meeting.</p><p>T
