 ice Chancellor for Medical Affairs and Dean of WashU Medicine will provide 
 opening remarks. All are welcome!</p><p><strong>Dr. Hasan Kwame Jeffries</s
 trong> is a historian who teaches\, researches\, and writes about the Afric
 an American experience with a focus on historical understanding and civic e
 ngagement. Dr. Jeffries is a College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Associate 
 Professor in the Department of History and Faculty Director for the Difficu
 lt Subjects: K12 Teacher Institute at Ohio State University. Dr. Jeffries\,
  also\, chairs the board of The Montpelier Foundation\, which stewards the 
 Virginia estate of James Madison\, helping to shape a more inclusive public
  interpretation of America’s founding.</p><p>A short reception will be held
  from 3:30pm - 4:00pm with hors d'oeuvres/appetizers and light refreshments
  in the 2nd floor mezzanine in EPNEC.</p><p>[formidable id="480"]</p><p>Ind
