DESCRIPTION: One in four adults in the United States are living with some k

 whose knowledge\, skills\, talents and experiences add important perspectiv
 e\, resourcefulness\, and creative energy to our society. Still\, people wi
 th disabilities are underemployed\, overrepresented in health inequities an
 d experience healthcare access barriers. […]

  unique individuals whose knowledge\, skills\, talents and experiences add 
 important perspective\, resourcefulness\, and creative energy to our societ
 y. Still\, people with disabilities are underemployed\, overrepresented in 
 health inequities and experience healthcare access barriers. This 90-minute
  education session will define disability\, introduce inclusive practices f
 or language\, etiquette and bias management. We will highlight campus resou
 rces to help participants begin to think of ways to move from compliance to
  inclusion within their work environments. Lunch will be provided and a few
  art pieces from <a href="https://positiveexposure.org/">Positive Exposure<
 /a> will be on display.</p><p><em><a href="https://positiveexposure.org/">P
 ositive Exposure</a>’s work and founder was featured at the recent Reframin
 g Inclusion Symposium on campus\, May 21<sup>st</sup>. For 25 years\, Posit
 ive Exposure has operated as a 501(c)(3)\, building a more equitable\, comp
 assionate world for individuals and communities at risk of stigma and exclu
 sion. We all share the same need: The need to be seen. The need to be heard
 . The need to belong. Positive Exposure\, creates spaces rooted in unity\, 
 respect\, and inclusion through photography\, film\, educational programs\,
  and advocacy at their gallery in East Harlem and around the globe.</em></p
