This working symposium brings together fac ulty\, campus\, and community partners to identify critical needs in our co mmunity and learn how community-engaged research may move us towards soluti ons.
During this event\, experienced community-engaged research teams will share how they defined community engagement\, how they developed thei r partnership and projects\, and what the benefits were to their approaches . During working sessions\, participants will reflect on critical needs in St. Louis\, identify areas where more research or data is needed\, and plan next steps. Finally\, a panel of funders and research supporters will shar e funding opportunities and resources available for community-based researc h.
