Mitigating Impli cit Bias

This interactive session explores the concept of bias—parti cularly implicit bias—and how it affects our daily decisions and interactio ns. Through facilitated reflection\, discussion\, and didactic learning\, p articipants will:

• Define bias\, including implicit and explicit for ms

• Understand the impact of bias on decision-making and interperson al relationships

• Identify areas where personal biases may influence behavior

• Learn practical strategies to recognize and mitigate bias in the workplace

How to attend t he training: This virtual training is conducted in Zoom.

Ple ase leave the video on during the training if possible. You may be asked to turn off video to increase Zoom data and bandwidth.
Please log in to Zoom using your WUSM SSO credentials before joining. Joining from a spac e with multiple participants is discouraged due to the interactive nature o f the training.
