  data-start="292" data-end="304">MLK Week</strong> brings the WashU Medicin
 e community together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King
  Jr. through educational programs\, dialogue\, service\, and reflection. Th
 e Office of Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion invites faculty\, staff\, stud
 ents\, and trainees to join the <strong data-start="579" data-end="615">MLK
  Week 2027 Planning Committee</strong> and help create a meaningful week th
 at inspires learning\, connection\, and community engagement.</p><p data-st
 art="713" data-end="1022">Planning Committee members will work collaborativ
 ely to help develop the 2027 MLK Week theme\, shape educational programs an
 d community events\, and support at least one event during the annual comme
 moration. Planning meetings will be held bi-weekly beginning in late summer
  and continuing through January 2027.</p><p data-start="1024" data-end="139
 3">Whether you've participated before or are joining for the first time\, w
 e welcome individuals with diverse perspectives\, experiences\, and ideas w
 ho are interested in strengthening our WashU Medicine community. No prior p
 lanning experience is necessary—just a willingness to collaborate\, share y
 our ideas\, and help create an engaging and meaningful experience for other
