Please join us for the Summer Science Seminar Series in collaboration with Julianne Mason in DBBS.
Starting on June 7 and running through July 19, we’ll host six Wednesday seminars in Connor Auditorium from noon to 1 pm (with food) for all summer undergraduates in your programs.
Briefly, three seminars will focus on scientific research; for each of these seminars (June 7, 14, and 28), three faculty members will give short, 15-minute, big-picture talks about their research. On June 21, we will host a career panel at which three scientists will give personal reflections about their career path, and we’ll wrap-up the series with talks on what to expect and how to succeed along the MD/MD-PhD (July 12) and the PhD paths (July 19).
This week speakers:
Jason Weber- Tumor Suppressors and Cancer Biology |
Helen McNeill- Growth Control |
Erik Herzog- Circadian Rhythms: Timing is everything |
