Diversity & Inclusion 2.0 - Unconscious Bias (This is a virtual training)

Facilitators provide experient ial activities that align with materials from the American Association of M edical Colleges (AAMC) to demonstrate how unconscious bias is something tha t every individual holds. The goals of this interactive training is to high light the concept of unconscious bias\, how it influences individuals daily \, and provides tangible tools for mitigating unconscious bias.

How to attend the training: This virtual trainin g is conducted in Zoom.

Please leave the video on during the tra ining if possible. You may be asked to turn off video to increase Zoom data and bandwidth.
Please log in to Zoom using your WUSM SSO credentia ls before joining. Joining from a space with multiple participants is disco uraged due to the interactive nature of the training.
How to Change Zoom screen name –While in the meeting\, see “Participants\,” hover the mo use over your name on the participants' list\, see “more” if using the Part icipant list\, or … on your screen\, “Rename”\, enter first and last name\, “OK”. Or place your full name in the chat at the beginning of the training . If an incomplete screen name is used\, it may take longer to change the c ompletion status.

Late arrival – Please join the training within 15 minutes of the star t. Anyone joining after 15 minutes will need to register for another traini ng and complete it in full\, to receive a Successful completion status.
