Diversity & Inclusion Disabilities (This is an onsite training)
At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to:
- Define disabilities
- Identify the impact of creating an inclusive environment for individuals living with disabilities
- Demonstrate the importance of recognizing unconscious bias in relation to visible and invisible disabilities
- Design an effective inclusive practice for your corner of the university
How to Register: Registration must be completed by logging into LearnatWork and selecting HR – Diversity & Inclusion Disabilities, course number 00009661 and class ID number 000057862.
How to attend the training: This is an onsite training. Please remember to sign the log when entering the physical training location to be awarded credit for attending.
What to do after training is completed: After the training has been completed and the completion update is made by the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, learners receive a system generated Email from Washington University Learn@Work. The Email contains a link to the evaluation. Complete the evaluation as soon as you can to avoid action messages of “in progress, pending action or “incomplete” in your Plan that is not associated with the training, but the evaluation.
