Program prepares employees for high-demand, high-paying nursing jobs

De’Ona Hardy, of Collinsville, Ill., and Erica Jenkins, of Madison, Ill., are set to graduate with associate’s degrees from Washington University in May. Both are certified medical assistants at the School of Medicine and students in the pre-nursing program at University College. The two friends frequently meet after work to study for anatomy and physiology exams.
