The Office of Diversity Programs invites the WashU Medicine community to join us for the 30th Annual Homer G. Phillips Public Health Lecture Series on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC).

This year’s lecture will feature Will R. Ross, MD, MPH, Associate Dean for Diversity, Principal Officer for Community Partnerships, and Alumni Endowed Professor of Medicine, as the keynote speaker. Through his longstanding leadership in community engagement and public health, Dr. Ross has advanced initiatives that strengthen partnerships, promote health equity, and improve opportunities for communities across the St. Louis region.

The Homer G. Phillips Public Health Lecture Series brings together members of the WashU Medicine community to engage in thoughtful dialogue on issues that shape public health, healthcare, and our communities. Join us as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of this distinguished lecture series and reflect on the importance of leadership, collaboration, and community engagement in advancing healthier futures.
