As part of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’s celebration of Native American Heritage Month, please join us for a community discussion of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book:
Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Dr. Kimmerer blends her training in botany and ecology with the Indigenous teachings she grew up with to offer lessons on generosity, mutual aid, and reciprocal care. Together, we will explore her call for “restorative reciprocity” and reflect on what it means to view the world as a gift.
