This interactive training is designed to build foundational awareness around the ways in which culture shapes experiences, opportunities and outcomes across the workplace, academic, research and clinical settings at WashU Medicine. Building awareness is the first step in our culture change framework and helps develop shared language for achieving Inclusive Excellence.
- Define key concepts of diversity, equity, inclusion and inclusive excellence
- Understand how culture and climate initiatives advance WashU Medicine’s mission
- Explore the consequences of exclusion in professional and educational environments
- Recognize how individuals can contribute to a more inclusive culture.
