Healing Ourselves: Building Deeper Connections is a collaborative series offered by Meg Krejci, Mindfulness Consultant, and Erin Stampp from the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
This three-part series invites participants to use mindfulness practices to expand their capacity to stay present during difficult conversations and support work toward equity and positive change. Building on greater awareness of ourselves and the biases we carry, participants will explore how to lean into discomfort, cultivate compassion, and remain connected to one another through challenging moments.
Through guided reflection and discussion, participants will:
- Practice ways to stay present and lean into discomfort during difficult conversations
- Cultivate compassion and explore ways to move toward action, connection, and positive change
These practices can help build the relationships and sense of connection needed to support healing, restoration, and a healthier culture and climate.
All WashU students, staff, faculty, and trainees are welcome.
